Subway

So I went to Subway for dinner last week. I love subway! I order my usualy meal...Chicken-Bacon-Ranch sans the ranch. (I don't like ranch). I get back home and take a few bites. It doesn't taste right at all. I open it up and the bread is not cooked all the way..eeewwww.

So I go back to Subway and talk with an employee to express my concerns. I tell him, the bred is not done, it is doughy and it tastes awful. I was expecting, "I'm so sorry, how can we fix that for you, like what normally occurs in those situation. What I got was "What am I suppose to do about it? The bread just came out of the oven and it is probably just moisture from being warm. Am I not suppose to serve bread? How can I not serve the bread to our customers?"

I was in shock. this guy was a jerk!!! I had to leave because i was so upset. I threw the remnants of my soggy, doughy sandwich in the trash. Got back home and told Stephen what had jsut happened. He took my receipt and went back to Subway and........cam right back home with flames shooting out of his ears. "I had to leave before I jumped over the counter and pummeled the guy" is the reply I got when I asked him what happened.

I asked, did you get his name? Bob, his name was Bob. and the manager would be int he next day. Yeah!

We left it at that....until last night (4 days later).

I went back to the Subway for the Goodrich ice cream. I asked the manager, "How's the bread tonight?" He looked up at me and said, "So that was you?" I said, "Oh you heard?" He had heard. We talked a while about what happened , the guy lied, his name was not Bob, and I expressed my frustration over the situation. All is well again in Subway land :o)

And I got free ice cream to boot!!!

A day in the life...

So I get this phone call Thursday afternoon at work. "This is the nurse calling from _______ school. I am calling to tell you that I just received a note from the principal here and it says that your son, has been asleep for the past hour in his classroom." So I asked her how long they were planning on letting him sleep. She replied "We thought he would only sleep for 20 minutes or so but he isn't waking up." So proceeded to call Dad and have him picked up. He got home and slept for another 2 hours.

Went to the Dr today and after a week of fevers and lots of sleeping, an Upper Respiratory Infection is to blame. So we have yet another round of antibiotics in the house. Just when I get one kid healthy...Dang It!!!!
